From classic show ponies to Barbie & Ken, from cowgirls to clowns with small cars, this year's Expo is a fun and wild variety of excitement and originality of both the big top and the barnyard!
Prior to this year we were 'by invitation' only. For our 6th Season, we decided to try a new format and accepted performer applications. We received 150 applications from around the world, in less than two weeks! What you will experience this year is the collection of talent that received the highest score amongst a panel of 6 adjudicators.
Behind the scenes, we continue to develop our growth as an Expo by expanding the team. From Vending to Backstage Management, from Transportation to Financials, our goal is to streamline the process, become more transparent and efficient, and open our budget overview and responsibilities to a larger group of people.
On stage, we are pleased to continue to honour our commitment with Imperial Burlesque Canada by showcasing their 2024 Monarch (who just happens to be Misty Rose—last year's QCBE Feature!) as our Featured Guest.
We are also very proud to have become partners with What The Funk?! out of Seattle whose 'Grand Master Funk' will be an invited Special Guest Performer at all future Expos.
As our 2025 Headliner we have the Pearl of the Prairies, Bea Lissima, a veteran performer and activist, along with Feature performers Monday Blues and Tomboy Selleck. Also joining us is the #1 Voted Burlesque Figure in the World—Qween Quan!
Come for the adventure, stay for the chaos, and celebrate yourself—AMPLIFIED!

with LeTabby Lexington
Improv can be scary and LeTabby is here to demystify the make 'em ups and have you flying by the seat of your pants while you remove them! Using fun physical games we will have you honing your improv skills, which will come in handy for those oopsies times, if you want to play with the audience or there's an opportunity for a special in the moment play. Improv is all about play and being positive, which are great skills for any performer.
Lessons learned from this workshop will come in handy on stage and off in act development.
LeTabby Lexington has trained with Second City and Rapid Fire Theatre and is a cast member of the Canadian Comedy Award Winning Die Nasty, the Improvised Soap Opera as well as a trained clown. Please wear clothing you feel comfortable moving in. This workshop is open to all genders, bodies and abilities.
with Bea Lissima
This workshop explores the history of Anti-Asian Racism in Canada and how racism against Asian and Pacific Islander folks has increased during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
We explore statistics from both Canada and the United States, and how our values and beliefs have been impacted by systemic racism towards these communities.
with Monday Blues
Who says success in burlesque has to fit a mold? Join Monday Blues for a workshop that celebrates the many ways to shine in this dazzling art form. Whether you’re building community, creating unforgettable performances, or redefining what it means to be an icon, this session will inspire you to craft a legacy that’s uniquely yours. Let’s uplift and shine a light on the countless ways we can approach this journey—because burlesque can be fulfilling in and out of a court, on or off the stage, and everywhere in between.
